You earn entries when you order from the store, there is also a free route with no purchase, and a winner is chosen when the giveaway closes. The prize, the entry rates and the dates change with every giveaway, so read the product page for the item you are buying and the Official Rules for the giveaway that is running.
How entries are earned
Entries come from the items in your order. Each item earns entries based on its listed price, per unit, multiplied by the quantity you buy. The entries an item earns are shown on the product page, and your cart shows the running total before you check out. The numbers change with every giveaway, which is why they are not listed here.
- Entries are worked out from the listed price of the item. A discount code lowers what you pay, but it does not lower your entries.
- Tax and shipping never earn entries.
- If an item's whole dollar price ends in 9, it counts as the next dollar up. That rounding is in your favour.
- The per-unit entry figure is rounded to the nearest whole entry before it is multiplied by your quantity, so it can round down as well as up.
- Your cart subtotal can add extra entries on top of what the items earn.
- Fast Track passes add entries of their own. Bonus entry codes add more on top: one code applies per order, the one that earns you the most, and the Official Rules set the limit on how many codes one person can use across a giveaway.
When your entries are recorded
Entries are recorded once your order is paid. They are not held until the order ships, so the time it takes to make and send your items has no effect on them. The rates used are the ones that were in effect at the moment you placed the order, and they are frozen there. A later change to those rates does not change what you already earned.
Entries are recorded against the order and are not removed once they are awarded. There is no mechanism to take them back. That works both ways. Because entries cannot be pulled back out once they are in, the Official Rules treat qualifying orders as final, and exchanges rather than open-ended returns are the default. Items are made to order, which is the reason for that. If you exchange an item for a different size, the entries from that order stay with you.
The Official Rules also set out the eligibility and fraud conditions that apply to every entrant, including ordering items with the intention of returning them once the giveaway closes. Read them before you order more than you plan to keep.
Entering without buying anything
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. There is a free mail-in route. The Official Rules for the giveaway set out the exact method. Follow them as written, because a free entry only counts if it is submitted the way the rules describe.
How the winner is chosen
When the giveaway closes, the winner is chosen and announced. How the draw is run, who is eligible, what a winner has to do to claim, and how the winner is contacted are all set out in the Official Rules for that giveaway. Read them before you enter.

Email support@shftdco.com with your order number and we will reply within 24 hours. Entries are recorded against the order, so the order number is the fastest way for us to check exactly what was counted and why.
