Your cart subtotal adds extra entries as it grows. Each rung your subtotal passes adds entries on top of what your items already earn. The bar in the cart drawer tracks this live, so you can see where you sit and what the next rung is worth. There is nothing to click and no code to enter.
Where the bar is
The bar is in the cart drawer, the panel that slides out when you add something. The full cart page does not show the ladder, so open the drawer if you want to watch it move.
What the bar is showing
The bar updates as you add items, remove items or change quantities. It shows where your subtotal sits on the ladder and names what the next rung is worth as you get close to it. Some rungs raise the rate your items earn per dollar. Some add a flat number of extra entries.
Which subtotal the tiers read
- The listed price of each item, times the quantity in your cart.
- The listed price before any discount code. A code lowers what you pay. It never lowers the subtotal the tiers read, and it never lowers your entries.
- Tax and shipping are not counted.
- A Fast Track pass in your cart counts toward the subtotal like any other item. It is a one-off digital purchase, not a membership or a subscription. There is no membership product at SHFTD.
Every rung adds to the ones below it
The rungs are cumulative. Passing a higher rung adds to the lower ones rather than replacing them, so you never lose a lower reward by climbing past it. What counts is your subtotal when you pay. If you take items out and drop back under a rung, that rung no longer applies.
Tiers and a bonus entry code work together
They stack. One bonus entry code applies per order, and the one that earns you the most is chosen automatically. Tier entries are added on top of that. The Official Rules set the per-person limit across a giveaway.
When the entries lock in
Entries are recorded when your order is paid, not when it ships. Once they are awarded they are stored with that order and never rewritten, so a later change to the ladder does not touch an order that has already been counted. Entries are never removed once awarded, including after a size exchange.
A whole-dollar price ending in 9 counts as the next dollar up when your entries are worked out. It does not change which rung your subtotal reaches.
The rungs and their rewards change over time, so we do not publish them here. The cart drawer shows the ladder that is live while you shop, and the entries confirmed on your order are the final figure. You can see what an order earned on that order in your account at account.shftdco.com, signed in with the same email address as the order. There is also a free mail-in entry route with no purchase necessary, and the Official Rules give the exact method.
