My Entries is the page in your SHFTD account that shows every entry you hold. Sign in at account.shftdco.com and open My Entries from the account side navigation. It shows any giveaway that is open right now, each with a live countdown, the entries you hold in it, your odds, and your individual entry numbers. Below that are separate sections for giveaways you entered that have closed, and giveaways you entered that have already been drawn. Entries appear once your payment clears, not when your order ships. The page is read only. You can view your entries, but nothing on it changes them.
Sign in with the same email address that is on the order. Entries follow the order email. If you ordered with one address and sign in with another, those entries will not be on the page. Entries also show up in a few other places in your account: a summary on your profile, a summary on your order list, and a block on an individual order showing what that one order earned.
What each section shows
- Active giveaway. Any giveaway that is open right now, with a live countdown to the moment entries close. This card appears whether or not you hold entries in it yet.
- Your entries. How many entries you hold in that giveaway, added up across every order placed with the email you signed in with.
- Your odds. Your entries divided by every entry in the pool. The page shows this as a percentage. It appears once you hold entries and the pool has been counted.
- Your entry numbers. These sit behind a collapsed line that says how many you hold. Open it to see the individual numbers, sometimes called tickets. If you hold a large number of them, the page shows a portion rather than the full list.
- Awaiting draw. Giveaways you entered where entries have closed and the winner has not been announced yet.
- Past giveaways. Giveaways you entered that have already been drawn. Once a winner is confirmed, the winning entry number is shown here.
Why your entry count is what it is
Entries are worked out from the listed price of each item, per unit, then multiplied by the quantity you bought. The per unit figure is rounded to the nearest whole entry, so it can round down as well as up, and any whole dollar price ending in 9 counts as the next dollar up, in your favour. Tax and shipping never earn entries. A discount code lowers what you pay, never what you earn. Cart subtotal tiers add entries on top. A bonus entry code can multiply an order's entries and add a flat amount as well, and one code applies per order, whichever one earns you the most. The Official Rules set the limit on bonus codes per person across a giveaway. Fast Track passes are one time digital purchases that earn entries on their own price, and nothing more: they are not a membership and carry no ongoing status. Every rate is frozen at the moment you placed the order, so a later change never alters entries you already hold, and entries are never removed once awarded.
When a section looks empty
- You signed in with a different email than the one used on the order. Check the address on your order confirmation and sign in with that one.
- Payment has not cleared yet. Entries are recorded when the order is paid, not when it is packed or shipped.
- You hold no entries yet, so there is nothing for the odds figure to divide. Odds appear once you hold entries and the pool has been counted.
- No giveaway is open at the moment. The active giveaway card only appears while a giveaway is running. If nothing is running and you hold no entries anywhere, the page shows a single message instead.
- You have not entered yet. There is also a free entry route by mail, with no purchase necessary. The Official Rules give the exact method, so follow them rather than guessing.
About your odds
Your odds are your entries divided by all the entries in the pool. The page shows this as a percentage. Another way to read it is roughly one chance in a given number. The pool keeps growing while a giveaway is open, so your odds move up and down until entries close. Strong odds are still not a win. Even holding a fifth of all the entries means that four times in five, somebody else takes it.
How the winner is picked
Before a giveaway opens, SHFTD publishes the digital fingerprint of a secret number and names the exact future pulse of drand, a public randomness beacon run by independent organizations, that the draw is forced to use. That pulse fires shortly after entries close and its value cannot be known in advance, so when SHFTD reveals the secret number and combines it with that pulse, the result is one position in the entry pool that neither you nor SHFTD can steer. The draw runs live and in public. Every entry keeps its own number in a permanent record, and the result is published afterwards so it can be checked.
If your entries still look wrong
Email support@shftdco.com with the order number and the email address you used at checkout, rather than a screenshot of what you paid, since what you paid and what you earned are two different figures. We reply within 24 hours.
