I ordered but my entries are not showing

Entries appear once payment clears. If My Entries looks empty, start by checking which email you signed in with.

Entries are recorded when your order is paid, not when it ships. If My Entries looks empty, there are a few likely causes. The payment has not cleared yet. You are signed in to a different account than the one the order was placed under. Or the giveaway has closed and your entries have moved further down the page. Work through the checks below. Entries are never removed once awarded, so nothing has been lost.

How long to wait, and when it is actually broken

Normally your entries are there as soon as the payment clears. Reload My Entries at account.shftdco.com before anything else, because the page does not update on its own while you are looking at it.

Entries are written by an automatic message from checkout, and occasionally that message is delayed or has to be retried. So give it a little time before assuming something is wrong. If your order shows as paid and there are still no entries after an hour, that is worth telling us about rather than waiting longer.

Nothing is at risk while you wait. Entries are worked out at the rates that were live when you placed the order, so a delay in them appearing never changes how many you get.

1. Entries are recorded when the order is paid, not when it ships

Entries land when payment clears. Shipping has nothing to do with it. Until the order is marked paid, the entries are not recorded yet. Once the order is paid, the entries are recorded at the rates that were live when you placed the order, and a later rate change never alters them.

2. Sign in with the email address that received your order confirmation

Entries are recorded against the account the order was placed under. Sign in at account.shftdco.com with the email address that received your order confirmation. If you ordered with one address and are signed in with another, My Entries will look empty even though the entries still exist. Open your order confirmation email and check which inbox it landed in, then make sure that is the address you are signed in with. If you have more than one account with us, check the other one too.

3. Open the order itself in your account

Your account also shows what each order earned on that order's own page. Open the order from your order list and look at the entries block on it. If it shows entries there, you are in the right account and the order was counted. If it says the order earned no entries, that is the detail to send us. It tells us to look at the order rather than the account.

4. Check a giveaway was actually open when you ordered

An order placed when no giveaway was running earns no entries at all, and nothing banks for the next one. If you ordered in the gap between giveaways, an empty page is the expected result rather than a fault. The article on which giveaway your order counts toward covers this.

5. If the giveaway has closed, look further down the page

Once a giveaway stops taking entries, your entries are no longer listed under the active giveaway. They move to the Awaiting draw section while the draw is pending, then to Past giveaways once the giveaway is concluded. Scroll down My Entries to find them. Entries are never taken back. Each one keeps its own ticket number in a permanent record.

A note on odds

Odds are your entries divided by every entry in the pool. Until you hold entries there is nothing to divide, so no odds figure is shown. When you hold no entries in the open giveaway, My Entries tells you that directly rather than showing a zero. The pool also keeps growing while the giveaway is open, so your odds move until entries close. The account area only displays entries. Nothing you do there can change them.
