You can exchange an item for a different size within 30 days of receiving it. On a size exchange you pay to send the original back, and we pay to send the replacement out to you. If something arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, contact us first. You should not have to pay to return our mistake.
Why exchanges are the default
Items are made to order. Yours is produced after you buy it, which is why a size exchange is the default rather than an open ended return. If you think your situation is different, email us and ask before you send anything back.
Who pays what
- Size exchange: you pay the return shipping on the original item.
- Size exchange: we pay to send the replacement out to you.
- Faulty, damaged or wrong item: contact us first. We sort it out, and we do not make you pay to return our mistake.
- Entries: an exchange does not remove entries you have already earned.
If the item is faulty, damaged or wrong
Contact support before you do anything else, and do not pay to ship our mistake back to us. Tell us what arrived and what is wrong with it. A clear photo of the problem helps us sort it faster. We will tell you what happens next.
How to start an exchange
- Email support@shftdco.com within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number.
- Tell us the item, the size you have, and the size you want instead.
- Wait for our reply before you ship anything back. We answer within 24 hours and we will tell you what to do next.
- Your replacement is made to order like the original. Production takes 1 to 3 business days, and up to 5 to 7 business days during a rush of orders, before the parcel is handed to the carrier. Transit time is on top of that.
What happens to your entries
Your entries stay. Entries are recorded when your order is paid, and once they are awarded they are never removed. Exchanging a size does not change that.
Not sure whether your case counts as a fault? Email support@shftdco.com and we will reply within 24 hours. If you have not ordered yet, check the size guide on the product page first. The easiest exchange is the one you never have to make.
